The Placemarker wall sculptures emphasize an awareness of time and space by enacting frozen moments. Their singular elements relate to one another without any visible means of support. They float on the wall or barely touch one another in fixed, but physically unsupported stances. They are motionless, yet our sensibilities tell us that their positioning cannot be maintained. Their balance and harmony is at odds with their precarious, house-of-cards-like placement in space.
